Metaは米国時間11月10日、「Facebook」のソーシャルプラグインである外部ウェブサイト向けの「いいね！」および「コメント」ボタンを、2026年2月10日に廃止すると発表した。

Metaは、外部のWebサイトに設置する「Facebook」の「いいね！」ボタンと「コメント」ボタンを2026年2月10日に終了すること発表した。同日以降は、外部Webでは表示できないようになる。

Metaは、Facebookの投稿内容をウェブサイトやブログなどに埋め込んで引用したり、Faebookに搭載されている機能を外部のウェブサイトで利用したりするためのソーシャルプラグインを提供していますが、このうち、「いいね！」ボタンと「コメント」ボタンが廃止されることがわかりました。
