The best part of fishing at the Fishing Freshwater Festival of the Dams is having the winning teams all give you a run down on techniques, lures and where they caught their fish. So much to learn and so many great people willing to share their knowledge. We had all but given up hope on the first day until we tied a Smak Lures Golden Child and trawled at about 2kph in 9ft of water out the front of the winery and then BAM 💥, one of the best catches for us over the weekend. Happy to share the GPS
